26JunFirst day, Feast day

We had our orientation today.

Well, it was a good and productive day though some parts were a bit dragging like the discussions (probably because I haven’t gotten much sleep cause my body clock went haywire). But there were also parts that were actually fun like the presentations and the group activities. (I even won a pen in one of the activities. karir!) I especially liked the mini-conversations I had with my group mates. Food was also generously served and was quite delish—though I wasn’t able to finish my share because I was too full. Hmm, what else.. well, drinks were unlimited which resulted to too many bathroom breaks haha.

And, I think I have a crush on one of the senior execs (shh!). I have a thing for articulate men and good public speakers. P

And then later this evening, my parents and I attended a Mass at Manila Cathedral in celebration of the feast day of St. Josemaría Escrivá. It’s the first time I’ve attended a Mass hosted by the Opus Dei. For some reason, I like the way they celebrated the Mass—the solemnity, and the considerable use of Latin which I think is a beautiful language.
